Passport (valid for 6 months), visa or tourist card, proof of sufficient funds, and onward/return ticket required. Visa and tourist cards are valid 30 days.  Visa should be obtained in advance from Panamanian Embassy or Consulate.  Tourist card is available for $5 from the airline serving Panama.  Stay can be extended up to 90 days; apply at the main office of Immigration and Naturalization in Panama. 

Visa requires 1 application form and 1 photo.  Allow 1 working day for processing.  Departure tax of $20 must be paid at the airport.  HIV test required for persons adjusting visa status while in Panama.
